Inclusive
Inclusion is a way of life for us. It helps us to better support our customers, communities and associates. Though it makes good business sense, we do it because it’s simply the right thing to do. Our leadership is expected to have an authentic commitment to inclusion and be open and accessible to everyone in the company.
Open & Engaged
Through annual engagement surveys, Business Resource Groups, diversity and inclusion focus groups, associate councils and an open work environment, we create space to express ideas, thoughts and perspectives.
Business Resource Groups (BRG)
Our Business Resource Groups (BRG) drive diversity and inclusion. With dedicated executive sponsorship, these associate-led groups drive strategic initiatives, foster internal and external engagement and promote professional development.
Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN) BRG
WIN leverages the experiences and insights of women by partnering with like-minded organizations. Our focus is professional networking, industry exposure and organizational development that empowers women.
THRIVE People of Color BRG
THRIVE brings together and empowers associates to have authentic and open conversations by spotlighting diversity in skills and talents to ensure measurable impact on our recruitment, professional development and business and community outreach strategies.
Young Professionals (YoPro) BRG
YoPro creates a community that draws on the insights and experiences of young professionals and Millennials with the goals of bolstering business needs, professional development and community outreach.
Giant’s Veterans BRG
We celebrate and support the contributions of military veterans and military families. We do this by focusing on community outreach and fundraising by working with the USO and Hiring Our Heroes to transition veterans to civilian life. Our partnership with the USO has raised millions of dollars for the organization.
Pride BRG
As a company we focus on awareness, education and understanding of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ+) community. The PRIDE BRG aspires to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment where the LGBTQ+ can work and shop.
Corporate Council
The Corporate Council cultivates a better, more inclusive workplace environment by serving as a helpful liaison between associates and business leadership.
Supplier Diversity
